About Seamus
Dr Seamus Grundy is a Consultant Respiratory Physician with a sub-specialty interest in Lung Cancer. He works at Salford Royal Hospital in Greater Manchester, UK where he is Clinical Lead for the lung cancer service and Clinical Director of the Salford Lung Cancer Screening Service. He was joint Clinical Lead for the Liverpool Healthy Lung Project, the first city region wide lung cancer screening project in the UK.
Seamus has an active research interest in lung cancer biomarkers and is an investigator on a number of studies evaluating blood and exhaled breath measurements which aim to improve the earlier and accurate diagnosis of lung cancer.
